Itinerary
Glenrowan – Ned Kelly Animation
The main attraction and highlight at Kellyland Glenrowan is the re-enactment of Ned Kelly's last stand. Using the brilliance of animatronics and special effects you are magically transported back to June 28th 1880 where you travel with the Police towards Beechworth. You'll then be held captive in the Glenrowan Inn by the Kelly Gang, before baring witness to Australia's most famous gunfight. You'll experience the heat and smoke in the burning Inn, and end up in the Old Melbourne Gaol to where you'll share Ned's final moments.
The township of Glenrowan is most famous for hosting the final siege and capture of the Kelly Gang in 1880. Their story is preserved in the township's attractions, museums, and historic walk. However, there is much more to Glenrowan than Ned and his armour.
You can easily explore the town on foot after picking up a copy of the Glenrowan Heritage Siege Precinct walking map from the Ned Kelly Discovery Hub. This helpful flyer will guide you around significant sites such as the Ann Jones' Glenrowan Inn, Police Shelter Site, Gravel Contractors Encampment, Ned Kelly Capture Site, McDonnell's Railway Tavern and much more!

Milawa Cheese Company
Milawa Cheese Company began in 1988 inspired by an unforgettable cheese moment in northern Italy. On a menu turistico, founders David and Annie Brown met a creamy, soft blue cheese that blew them away. But when they tried to find something similar back home in Australia nothing came close.
There was only one thing to do: buy an old butter factory in country Victoria and learn to make it themselves! And so Milawa Cheese Company was born.
